HOW TO BUILD A HAT

                     Three steps are involved in building Hat

• Get the material of choice ready

• Prepare the pin ready 
• Prepare slightly thick solution of stiffner

Types of materials

• Crutchets
• siname
• paper mat
• straw (paper, stiff, & rubber)

Procedures or steps

1. Dye the materials of choice and drain
2. cover the moulder needed with nylon and grease or oil the surface
3. cover the mould with the materials... in the case of siname, always double the mat, but if you are using the paper mat... always line the mat to make it strong
4. tightening the mat rapped on the mould ed with the thumb tack
5. apply the stiffner solution on the surface.
6. expose to sunlight immediately for up to 3 - 4 hours depending on the intensity of light and ensure its dryness.
7. remove from moulder as gently as possible ( just the way you'd remove moi moi from tin)
8. join the crown and the base with thread and needle but in the case of straw, the knitted cap is wore for the crown and the base moulder  in an arranging order
9. prepare the decoration.
